The sleepy Vietnamese city of Dong Hoi, situated on the country’s north central coast, sees a fair amount of foreign foot traffic thanks to its close proximity to the region’s star attraction, Paradise Cave. But few tourists tend to stay long in Dong Hoi itself, using the city merely as a stop of convenience.
