In the spring of 2017 I was busy exploring as much of southern Spain as I could before heading off to China for my third teaching contract. After some truly amazing trips to Seville, Granada and Cordoba, I arrived in Gibraltar with comparatively low expectations. Somehow I’d built up an image of an Eastenders-type community set in the sunshine. But much to my delight, I discovered a quaint, laid-back town channeling olde-worlde Britain, augmented by an inescapable sense of history and stunning nature. Check out my articles on:
