I consider myself lucky to know all kinds of talented people, many of which I count as my closest friends…
For unique, thought provoking sketches, videos and art installations check out the work of the brilliant Anthony Ragucci. I met Anthony in Beijing back in early 2014 and as teaching colleagues, neighbors and horror buffs we fast became good friends. In fact, Anthony is the creator of both Leighton Literature’s homepage image and the LL thought bubble that serves as the signature footer to all my articles.
I met Daryl on a bus from Siem Reap to Battambang on December the 5th, 2015. He’s now such a close friend it seems bizarre to think we haven’t known each other all our lives. A talented singer and former member of the Dublin Gospel Choir, Daryl is also a sporadic travel blogger whose tales drip with his trademark humor.
As I continue to grow Leighton Literature from its humble beginnings, I’m always keen to find new inspiration from other travel bloggers. One such writer is the talented Jo and her stylish site outlanderly.com, “a travel blog that’ll inspire you to explore the world”. With eight years of global wanderings under her belt, Jo and I have discovered many of the same regions, including Hong Kong, South Korea, Spain, Thailand and Vietnam.
