Things to see and do in Shanghai

In the summer of 2009 I was in the midst of my first bout of traveling around China. During this time I spent a week exploring Shanghai, but when it came to digging out those old files I was left wondering where the hell all my pictures were!!? Sadly, I was only able to cobble together two My 5s from that long-ago trip… really frustrating!

Luckily I was able to make amends for this sorry state of affairs when I returned to Shanghai in March 2019 to see former Mansun frontman Paul Draper live in concert. Ten years on from my first visit and this time I made sure to do the city some major photographic justice as I hit a mix of popular and obscure sights.
